NYC Smooth Skin Pressed Powder in Translucent

Hello Dolls!! Today I will be talking about the most amazing powder known to woman. It is the NYC Smooth Skin Pressed Powder in Translucent. It is about $2.99 at most drugstores I visited but could run up to $3.99. It is perfect for an everyday face powder.

I don't need the most coverage when it comes to face products so my foundation pretty much all I need. However, if you a person who needs extra coverage and like how most powders give you that extra umph then this product is not for you. If you are like me and absolutely abhor the feeling of wet foundation and don't like the cakey and heavy feeling of most face powders then this product is for you!

This is a translucent powder so it looks stark white in the packaging, but once you apply the powder goes on clear and flawless. I read reviews and from my understanding the ladies with darker skin tones don't have a problem with this product. It does not give a white overcast and does not leave their skin looking ashy or grey.

Primarily, I use this product on my T-zone because I just hate feeling foundation there. I don't have oily skin but more normal to dry. I do use a dewy foundation and I don't like it on my forehead, and this is perfect for mattifying it out but not by too much. The other powders I was using worked in the sense of not being cakey, but they were too pink or orange and that's not cute on anyone's face.

The packaging is not the most high quality thing every. You payed three bucks for it. You get what you pay for. It is a plastic cheapo compact but it works, and the mirror is descent so you can just grab and go. The sponge it comes with is horrible! It feels like the plastic weird wrap you get when your order fragile things online. Using a fluffy brush to put it on though is the best method I think.

Overall it is wonderful! I think everyone should try it because it is so darn cheap but amazing quality. Mine was not chalky at all, but you never know with brands like these. You may get a bad batch, but in my experience I haven't so far. Like always, if you have any questions or requests please leave them in the comment section down below.
