Review: Hoola Bronzer by Benefit

Hello Dolls!! This was a request, by my best friend Meghan. She wants make up that will suit paler girls, like my self. Ha! This review is on the Benefit boxed powder bronzer in Hoola. It retails for about $28, and is a phenomenal bronzer.

It is a matte brown color. Perfect for contouring or even getting a bronze glow. I love to contour because it really makes the cheek bones pop. It is very finely milled, and super soft. It is a dream to blend! For the paler girls go with a lighter hand and build up from there, and the tanner girls go how you normally do. It is fool proof to mess up contouring with this bronzer. Since it is such a soft powder it is prone to crumbling. I don't think that would be a problem for any one, as long as none of you are digging the brush in there. I usually just tap my contouring brush in, tap of the excess, and contour away! Ha!

Left: applied heavy Right: Barely dipped finger in.

The only cons about this bronzer would be it is pretty bulky and boxy. Hence, the reason it is a boxed powder, it could crumble if you are not careful, and not so travel friendly.

Otherwise, this is a great product for the price, and you can't really beat it for a nice, non-orangy, blendable bronzer. It is worth the splurge! However, If you get the Legally Bronze set from Sephora for $38, you will get a full size Hoola Bronzer($28), a full size Highbeam($26), a full size Bad Gal Brown mascara($18), and a Glide on Pencil(not sure).

FTC: I purchased all these products and these are my own opinion.
