New Design!!!

Hello Dolls!! As most of you can tell, I have a new title/picture for my blog!!! I've been working on it the passed few days. I took a whole day taking pictures of my makeup or like other scenery's to put as the picture, but I was having difficulties finding a decent shot. It was either too much, not enough, too many words, or just plain boring. Then it hit me while I was doing my makeup, why don't I use the fake rose my boyfriend got me!! That is exactly what I did.
I personally love the grey of my walls and the pretty pink rose together. I spent most of the day, yesterday, trying to edit the picture to be perfect. I did not want the rose to be the focal point, I wanted " The Beauty Confessionals" to be the main point. As for my blog as a whole; I wanted to have all focus on the pictures. So I chose this really muted pink just to be a pretty wash of color. I think it compliments the light purple in the title picture.
I am by no means a photographer!! I take all my pictures off my iphone, and I am eyeing these two cameras by Nikon one is the CoolPix P7700 , which I KNOW is so not going to happen, but I girl can dream. The other is the Nikon CoolPix S4300, which is a lot more reasonable. I like the P7700 more because of the view finder, but both can take pictures and videos in HD. So just saving up the money to give you all more quality videos and pictures! (:
 I barely edit at all. I am not going to lie, istagram is my life saver for most pictures hahah! However, I did use Ribbet to edit, and then I used the 1960s filter on Picassa (for google), to get that pretty purple wash and yellowness in the flower. I am pretty pleased on how it turned out. I hope you all like it, and the new layout. It is a working progress, but for now I am happy with it. I think for my videos I will be using this as the new intro as well (: It is me. Simple yet classy.
So I guess this is the end of this ramblely post that made NO sense. Haha!! I hope you all enjoy this(: Now time for bed.

Mani Mondays: Dark and Stormy or Pretty Pales?

This year's Fall 2012 nail trends include either dark and stormy reds and navy's or pretty pales in whites, creams, light golds, and beiges. Both are very different for differnt types of girls(or boys), and can be taken as edge-y or a breath of fresh air in the fall.
I'm a huge fan of burgendy on my nails, but navy's I love!! For my skin tone, ridiculousy pale, this helps me out without being washed out by blacks and greys. I can get away with the darkness of the navy with out overwhelming my self. Burgendy is a great color itself, however It's great for a more red look vs the orange red look. I feel like with this nail trend, I can be a little edge-y.
Now for the simplistic girls with their nales the darkness may overwhelm you. No worries here!! You can have a breath of much needed fresh air with whites, light golds, creams, and even beige!! Just because they are simple colors means that they are ugly. You can go into all different directions with pinks, dusty roses, and purple undertones in all of these which I am the most excited for. (:

Mani Monday: Maybelline Color Show in Pink Cosmo

Hello Dolls!!!! I am currently typing this from my phone. I just can't seem to connect to my Internet from my computer! Ugh. Maybe it is my location or something but it sucks that I cannot get on to my computer. 😭I can post off my day's computer but I already took the time taking pictures and watermarking those photos that I really don't want to redo all that. This has been happening pretty much all of October. Ugh. Maybe it's just the location in my room, I should go downstairs tomorrow and try it out. Haha.
On to the post!! Surprise, Surprise! It is a nail polish, BUT it is NOT Essie!!! OMG it is the Maybelline Color Show polish in Pink Cosmo. OMG it is the prettiest polish EVER. It does not photograph well though, because it is an actual rosé gold polish. Even in the bottle it is a greenish color with a ton of pink shimmers! And on the nails it looks like rose gold!! Agh!!! I'm in love!!!! I say go pick it up, it is limited edition, but it is only $3.99!!! I got it at my rite aid for $1.99 and with tax it came out to be $2.07!!! Can you say Cray Cray?! The first coat will scare you! It will be sooooo sheer, however that's just the metallic showing. The second coat is beyond gorgeous!!! It is a beautiful polish, easily. Go get it! It'll flatter all skin tones! I'm super pale and it looks great, and my sister's super tan friend wore it and looked great! For $3.99 you really can't beat it!

What?!

Hello Dolls!!! Have I really only posted twice in October?! OMG. I am so sorry dolls! I've just been so busy with school work and stuff that I have neglected my blog. :( I apologize and will start posting every other day, if not everyday next week. I am trying to get ahead of my work because if I don't it is so great for my blog. Again, please forgive me. I am trying my hardest. Expect a "what I regret buying" post and video tomorrow!!! Also, I will be giving shout outs to blogs I've been loving as well! So keep an eye out for that. I promise it'll get better! Ha!

Mega Mascara Monday Review!

Hello Dolls!!! Ahhh!!! I have been trying to post this video for the longest time, sadly my internet has not been working and just time has not been on my side. However, it is up now, so that's good. Right? This post goes out to my gorgeously beautiful friend Izzy (: Now, I am sooooo sorry it has taken so long to post!!! Pictures, connections, school, and just timing sucked. But I am so happy it is finally uploading now!!! This was done Thursday night, but should have been done like two weeks ago. My bad. Anyways, on to the reviews!!

Izzy asked for three thing: for it to be waterproof, separates the lashes, and to be easy to take off. These three mascaras are magic little wonders! The beloved Lashblast in the orange tube by Cover Girl, One by One by Maybelline, andIllegal Lengths by Maybelline. I really enjoy them all, but you have to make sure if you are applying eyeliner not to get it on the lashes. Other wise it is a complete nightmare to take off waterproof mascara and gel liner. :/ True Story.

Lets start off with the beloved Lashblast mascara from Cover Girl in the orange tube. I personally believe this is the BEST out of the Lashblast line. The purple and black tubes just don't do it. It is the same exact mascara just with different staying power. Same brush and everything though. The purple and orange are identical I believe, while the black is horrid! Just don't use it, you'll be scrubbing your eyes out all night. 

Now, the brush is HUGE. It does take some time getting used to it, but once you know how to work with the brush, it is pretty easy to handle. It is a basic plastic bristle brush, that separates your lashes like no other. It is very gorgeous on the lashes, but easily clumps up. If you are not careful you could end up with scary spider lashes! EEK! I feel like it works best a week after opening. It just get's better. I find that the removing process is alright. Not my favorite to take off, but will work with a regular makeup remover wipe. If you get gel liner on your lashes then waterproof makeup remover is a MUST!

One by One has to be my favorite out of the three!! The picture give it absolute NO justice. I hate how I couldn't take a picture of my eye looking normal  Ha! It has so many tiny plastic bristles that it really separates and brings a ton of volume to the lashes. I really do look like, on a normal day to day basis, like I have million little lashes (: I love it. It is so easy to apply, you can put one coat on for a very natural look or five coats for a very dramatic look! It does not clump, and goes on deeper and darker each time. I usually do two-three coats. Depending how dramatic I want my eyes to look. The brush gets very little product on it, that you don't have to worry about messing up. It is a breeze to take off, and if Falsies and Mega Plush had a baby, One by One would be it. My lashes don't look or feel crunchy to the touch. They feel soft, and touchable(ha!). The only con I could think, would be the brush wand feels a little bit flimsy. I can deal with it though, best mascara I have tried!

Illegal Lengths is to had length. Now I don't know about any of you, but my lashes tend to me stumpy. I love adding length and dimension to my lashes with out the false lashes. So this mascara has lash fibers in it, and I think look so natural and nice against the lashes. Not the darkest or makes lashes voluminousness  but it does do a terrific job lengtheing!  I believe this makes the other two mascaras come off easier. I usually put a coat or two on over the Lashblast or One by One. I will say you must be careful!! It is totally NOT fool proof and you could put too much on. Also the little fibers could get in you fall asleep with the mascara on and rub your eyes when you wake up. My favorite combo is Illegal Lengths with One by One. Totally worth the money.

I would not usually suggest buying mascara at full price, but One by One and Illegal Lengths are worth it! I usually buy most of my drugstore products on buy one get one half off. If you can do that great! However, I wouldn't wait, these are wonder mascaras  The Cover Girl one, you could wait until it is bogo. Just because it is the harder to work out of the three. Anyways, I love these mascaras so much! They all hold a curl really well, and can be very easy to work with! They all are pretty easy to get off with a makeup wipe. Just make sure it is a moist one. If all else fails just use makeup remover with waterproof mascara, works like a charm ;) Another HUGE plus is all these are voluminousness, they lengthen, and separates the lashes. They are all cry proof, and just fabulous for everyday wear! One by One is by far my favorite!

Mani Monday: Favorite Fall Polishes

Hello Dolls!!! This is my favorite fall nail polishes! I just did a video post, and I want to post the colors and show the swatches of most of them on my nails. I couldn't find Opening night on my Instagram or in my photos, even though I just painted it the other day. I might have deleted it, so I will put some picture I find online for it!
